An acrylic painting commission will have more options to discuss than other mediums. For this reason, I'll ask you to please schedule a chat with me via the contact page of this website and we can discuss details.
I will usually start by asking your budget, and then telling you what is possible in your price range.
You can plan loosely on a price around $3 per square inch for a non-portrait commission. For example, a commission sized 10x10 inches on a wrapped canvas (ready to hang - unframed) will be $300.
As not everyone is an artist, I understand that some of these terms and some (or all) of this process may be new to you. But I will explain it all and make sure you understand everything so you can make the decisions that will best fit your vision for this project and your budget.
These are some options that we will be talking about (don't get overwhelmed, you don't need to think about this yet if you don't want to: we will go through it together).
- Canvas or board or paper
- if canvas, wrapped or flat
- Size ($3 per square inch for a painting with no people)
- Portrait/humans included? (ups the price per square)
- Timeline
- If you need it in a hurry, this may increase the price
