I don't do much oil painting because it doesn't fit my work flow as well as acrylic and watercolor, but I do love it. The richness of the colors, and the way you can spread it around like butter are just soothing. In this painting I enjoyed utilized the pallet knife - so the original is full of lovely impasto.
