Tulips are usually shown when they are at their prime - strong and straight. I love these tulips in their last beauty; open and flaming. We often see beauty in people only when they are young and vibrant. When we age, we seek to look as if we are not aged, but my favorite stage of the tulip is when it is old. And we too are beautiful in our older age.
