This is a drawing from a scene in the book Prince Caspian from the Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis. I've always loved the Chronicles of Narnia for both the story and also the beautiful Christian symbology. Aslan is the most prefect parallel of Christ (to me) that I've ever come across outside of scripture. In this drawing, Prince Caspian and Aslan face each other while Reepicheep looks on after an intense battle.

I've always loved the Chronicles of Narnia for both the story and also the beautiful Christian symbology. This drawing took quite a while as it was all done in pencil and colored pencil with many layers upon layers. I also struggled a lot with the color pallet, but eventually came to this, and I love how it turned out.
