I grew up in the wide warm desert of Utah and the sun was an important part of my life; but I didn't miss it until my years living in Vancouver Canada. I loved the people and the nature in Vancouver, but I painted Sunshine In Bloom at a time when I was back in Utah and celebrating my personal return to the sun. It was summer time and life was bright and free again. 

This is a print of an original acrylic painting. I love this painting in part for it's texture and that really comes through in the image.
