Christ’s love - as seen in this piece by his rays of glory – fully engulf all people. All people include those in bondage to addiction. Old and young. Sinners as well as those who look to Christ and live. “All” includes those who do not dress like you do and those who have a different skin color. God’s love covers all equally. He loves those who do not fit in. No one is more loved than another – even if they sin. Even if they are different than you. Christ said, “Behold I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands” (1 Nephi 21:16). He has done that for all. And it is a promise that he will not forget or forsake ANY ONE of his children. All people alike will conquer death.

But Christ’s extended arms are also part of a plea to all people. He pleads with us to change and to be obedient to him that with his wounds, our sins might be healed. “Be obedient, I implore … and be constant unto me, that THY Savior I may be.” – Reverently And Meekly Now - Hymn 185
